When the reporter came to the school (who was called Emma) we all greeted her at the KS2 library where she started her talk with us .She talked to us about herself and why she became a reporter. We listened eagerly and care fully. All the things helped us to become a good reporter to! She told us to always listen carefully and take your learning seriously because it will help you.
On the 26th of September a Swindon Advertiser reporter came in to speak to the ROK newspaper club at Red Oaks Primary School because the ROK newspaper club wanted to be good advertisers.
The most interesting thing that she told us about writing was about short hand. She told us that we were to chant the alphabet, then she would write it really quick. Overall, it was a good visit - very useful tips!
