Throughout the year, Years 3 and 4 have been learning how to play the African Drums with Mr Prophet. They have been learning different rhythms and how to play these rhythms against each other. In assemblies over the past week, each class has performed a fabulous composition that they have composed as a class. The rhythms that they played were really complicated and there were at least 3 or four different rhythms being played. Well done Years 3 and 4! Take a look and have a listen.
Since January, children have been learning how to play a number of brass instruments with Mr Byrd. On Tuesday, they performed in assembly and they were brilliant!!

The brilliant and very talented Mr Byrd came to our school hall this week and talked to us about the different instruments in the Brass family and what they sound like! I don't know about you but I thought he was brilliant!!
