'Red Oaks were delighted to welcome Chris Hunt‑Skelly as part of a Sports for Champions sponsorship event. Chris is a Team GB Judoka and a double Paralympic medallist, winning gold at Tokyo 2020 and bronze at Paris 2024.

He began the day with a whole school assembly, sharing an inspiring account of his journey to elite competition and the challenges he has overcome as a Deaf athlete with a visual impairment. His message of resilience and determination set a brilliant tone for the day.

Each year group then took part in an energetic workshop, completing five timed exercises for their sponsorship challenge. The atmosphere across Red Oaks was fantastic—full of enthusiasm, motivation, and a real sense of community spirit.
