Year 3 launched their new History unit: Ancient Egyptians by having a dress up day! The children began their day by tasting different Egyptian foods. As a class, we spoke about their flavour and texture and what we liked and disliked about them. Children then took a walk to our large timeline in school to look at when the Ancient Egyptians were alive before creating our own timelines. We learnt to write our names in hieroglyphics before creating our own papyrus paper.
