Careers Day and Fair 2026
Red Oaks Careers Day
On Monday 2nd March, Red Oaks held its first ever Careers Day, celebrating ambition, curiosity, and the amazing range of opportunities available to our children. Pupils and staff arrived dressed as the careers they aspire to—filling the school with future vets, scientists, police officers, performers, sports coaches, and many more.
We were delighted to welcome a wide range of visitors from across the community, including parents, relatives, and local professionals. They generously shared their expertise, spoke about their career journeys, and helped inspire our children to think big about their futures.
Children enjoyed meeting our volunteers and taking part in interactive activities throughout the day. Key Stage Two pupils also completed a special careers booklet, recording what they learned and researching the job they came dressed as.
After school, our visitors stayed to support our whole‑school Careers Fair, giving families the chance to explore even more stalls and speak to volunteers they may have missed.
A huge thank‑you goes to all our volunteers and the dedicated Red Oaks team, whose enthusiasm and support made our first Careers Day a truly inspiring and memorable event.
