Dream House Designs
Children across the school were asked to design their dream houses and then write about them as if they were persuading someone to buy them. Winners across the school were invited to Strakers Estate Agents in Red House to see their designs made into proper details with floor plans and everything!

First Big Write Day
We launched our first Big Write day at Red Oaks with a bang, as aliens crash landed in our grounds! Mr Cowell decided to go off on an adventure with them, and each year group had to complete various challenges to win him back. We got to visit the spaceship, investigate crop circles, as well as interview witnesses and even talk to the police! We all collaborated in our classes to complete the challenges by 1.30pm which meant we won him back! He then came into the hall to tell us all about his adventure. It was an amazing experience, which inspired us to do some FANTASTIC writing. Well done everyone!
