Tuesday 24th January 2023
Today Miss Wilson met with the Young Ambassador team.
and we discussed how to help our adults at home, who speak a language other than English.
The children came up with a challenge:
They would like to play a game (of their choice) with you, they will explain the rules and help you understand how to play. I'd love to see some photos of this, please send to Miss Wilson at: y3.4@redoaks.org.uk and I will post on Dojo and the school website

The children have had a lovely first term in Nursery and they have made lots of new friends. We are looking forward to helping your children to develop their skills and knowledge further, plus introduce them to lots of new experiences in the Spring term.

Super Sonic Phonic Friend
As your children go through the year they will be introduced to more work on developing their phonic knowledge (the ability to hear sounds). This is through our new Super Sonic Phonic Friend resource. We have included a section below to show you the 7 aspects and types of activities you may wish to do at home to reinforce their learning through play. We hope this is of use to you. Mr Cowell

Monday 5th September
We will be helping your children to settle in to their new Nursery Class and find their way around their new environment. We are looking forward to helping your children to develop lots of new skills and to introduce them to lots of new first-hand experiences. We will spend some time getting to know your children, finding out about their interests and ensuring that they feel comfortable and secure at Nursery.
