We would like to say how proud we are of your children; they have taken all the changes since September in their stride, maturing greatly and they now come to school excited to learn alongside their friends. We would like to thank you all for your continued support and the wonderful things you have done with your children to support their learning and we enjoyed updating you during the recent parent meetings.

Tuesday 24th January 2023
Today Miss Wilson met with the Young Ambassador team.
and we discussed how to help our adults at home, who speak a language other than English.
The children came up with a challenge:
They would like to play a game (of their choice) with you, they will explain the rules and help you understand how to play. I'd love to see some photos of this, please send to Miss Wilson at: y3.4@redoaks.org.uk and I will post on Dojo and the school website

Welcome back to 2023. We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas break and we wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year! Firstly, we’d like to thank you for your support during the previous 2 terms particularly with learning some basic phonics and developing a passion for reading. Both Cherry and Apple Classes have settled so beautifully into school life. Their hunger for learning is incredible and they are building positive, respectful relationships with both their peers and teachers alike.

Wednesday 2nd November - Importance of Play Workshop
Huge thank you to the parents who made it along today to the Importance of Play Workshop. I understand many of you work so I have included a Summary of the PowerPoint and a short video embedded which is well worth a watch. It gave us a good chance to have a general discussion afterwards about learning and share ideas and experiences as parents. If you have any other ideas for workshops or information sessions please just drop me a line. I will try to record them live next time so you can enjoy at your leisure .Many thanks Mr. Cowell EYFS Phase leader
Monday 5th September
We will be helping your children to settle in to their new Reception (F2) classes and find their way around their new environment. We are looking forward to helping your children to develop lots of new skills and to introduce them to lots of new first-hand experiences. We will spend some time getting to know your children, finding out about their interests and ensuring that they feel comfortable and secure at school. We will also be holding a short induction meeting at 1pm.
